Team highlights

After a challenging 2 weeks, the Gladiator harriers showed up in Pueblo ready to race. While nearly everyone had a good race, it ended up being a bit of a mixed bag. The conditions made the race a challenge, as did running in waves in a qualifying meet. When the dust settled, the girls finished 6th, only 3 points out of 5th place. The boys finished 5th, a mere 4 points from 4th. Asher Finch and Sophia Mena both completed the jobs they showed up to do, each taking one of the coveted individual State Qualifier spots. This will be the 8th year in a row that WHSXC has been represented at State.
