Team highlights

-Every member of the team who had run on this course before ran a PCR, most by a minute or more.
-Andy and Shane both ran PRs to start the season.
-10 runners completed their first ever 5k.
-Comparing this year's results to last year's, all 7 Varsity boys ran faster than our 6th runner a year ago; all 7 Varsity girls were faster than our 7th runner last year; and all 7 JV boys were faster than our 2nd JV boy last year.
-Alysia's time was the 6th fastest run by a senior girl in the past 8 years.

Athletes of the Week:
Alysia McCullough--Alysia led the girls' team for the first time ever. She improved her time on this course by an amazing 3:45 and came within 13 seconds of her PR, running her second fastest time ever.
Jun Lui--In his first cross country race ever, Jun finished 2nd on the team. His time was faster than all but one boy ran on the same course at the same meet a year ago.
