Team highlights

Team Highlights
-The girls team placed 12th out of 26 schools! The boys team placed 14th out of 26 schools while running only half of their top 8.
-Karisa Sabisch ran a PR of 33 seconds on a very tough course!
-7 out of 8 members of the team who ran the same course last year improved their time this year.
-Paul, Ben, Luke, Nick, and Grace all set earned performance points for their place.
-As a whole, we demonstrated good fitness and mental toughness as nearly everyone ran faster for their 3rd mile than their second.

Athletes of the Week:
Boys: Paul Gallogly and Ben Gallogly
Paul and Ben each ran a PR at the Florence meet and each was awarded a ribbon as they finished 8th and 10th respectively. At the Air Academy Invitational, Paul improved his time from last year by 64 seconds, while Ben improved his time from a year ago by 4:55!
Girls: Karisa Sabisch
On the hardest course of the season, Karisa recorded the only PR on the team at the Air Academy Invitational. She improved her best time by 27 seconds, while helping the girls put together their best pack time of the season.
